Slowly, but surely, Kanye West is taking over the world. Where do I even begin?!? The bizarre video for Bound 2, featuring his wife - NUDE? This hilarious spoof by James Franco and Seth Rogan? How about him leaving Nike for Adidas? Or maybe his heated exchange with Sway, during a radio interview yesterday where he went on his daily rant?
Lost in all this TMZ fodder, is the fact that Ye still makes great music. Thankfully, Solidisco hasn't forgotten about this as they dropped their remix yesterday with an extra serving of Charlie Wilson. Seriously, people from Buffalo shouldn't be able to bring this much heat... Best of all, the track is a FREE download in exchange for a Twitter follow.
Poster geeks rejoice! The incredible Miles Tsang was asked to create this poster for tonight's Nashville stop. His shop currently has 3 versions for sale and they GLOW IN THE DARK!

Duck Sauce - Duck Tape
That first half from the original 2 hour mix will be released on a limited edition cassette, aptly titled "Duck Tape". Preorders are happening right now on Fool's Gold, bundled with a brand new Duck Sauce t-shirt.
This just might be enough to hold fans over until their eagerly anticipated debut album, QUACK, is released early next year. Not interested in the cassette? The mix is available as a FREE download via Soundcloud.

Albert Hammond Jr. - AHJ [Full Stream]
Albert Hammond Jr. will release AHJ, a five-song EP, on October 8th and hit the road next month, including a stop at Chicago's Double Door. It's been five years since his last solo album, Como Te Llama?, but the break was needed as Hammond battled cocaine and heroin addiction.
Judging from the cover, it looks like he's got his fight back. Rude Customer is an early favorite of mine, but you can decide for yourself as the full EP is available to stream via Rolling Stone.

Fiona Apple - Pure Imagination
Chipotle Mexican Grill debuted its third film, titled "The Scarecrow", this afternoon and the most surprising part - aside from a fast food chain making short animated films - is the inclusion of a beautiful, awe-inspiring cover of the Willy Wonka classic, Pure Imagination, from meltdown prone Fiona Apple.
The film created by Moonbot Studios, hopes to shed some light on the increasing amount of processed foods while supporting local farmers. The 3-minute video is a companion piece for Chipotle's new app-based game of the same name.
This isn't the first time they've hooked up with a talented artist, both Karen O and Willy Nelson have contributed music to the project, spearheaded by Chipotle's Cultivate Foundation. The foundation is also responsible for the Cultivate Festival that passed through Chicago over the weekend.
Yahoo! is reporting that the song will be available for purchase via iTunes, but no release date has been announced.
Fiona will hit the road next month with Blake Mills for their "Anything We Want" Tour. Tickets are still available for their Chicago show at the Bank of America Theatre.

Dan Croll - In/Out (William Carl Jr Remix)
UK singer-songwriter Dan Croll has been garnering attention since his debut single, From Nowhere, found itself atop the highly coveted Hype Machine popular chart last year. Airplay on BBC Radio 1 soon followed and in less than a year, it seems everyone is predicting big things for the 23-year-old from Liverpool.
His latest single, In/Out, is somehow even better with noodling guitars and smooth vocals that make the song playable practically anywhere. London's William Carl Jr. decided to drop the guitars and drench it in synths for his remix, giving Croll's voice the spotlight with a R&B feel.
Dan will be in town for a show at the Empty Bottle, on Tuesday, October 1. Tickets are still available.
