Passion Pit released another new song over the weekend, the frenetic track, I'll Be Alright. It's the second single from their new album, Gossamer, available July 24.
Built on stuttering drums, 80's synths and soaring vocals, it pretty much expands their sound, almost to the breaking point. The bridge at 3 minutes is just killing me, I can't wait to hear this live.
If you have a conflict with the just released Lollapalooza schedule - they are up against The Shins - today is your lucky day. Passion Pit have been announced as one of the official after shows, playing the House of Blues, Thursday, August 2. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, at 10am.
